This piece of news make me wonder what have he done to deserve this? Worked so hard for it and yet in the end can’t enjoy it…

Don’t disrupt harmony!

We live in groups, be it at work or family. So, if you choose to be someone that disrupt harmony, you will realise that you are not welcomed. Even if you are in the right, the negative effect caused by you disrupting harmony will outweigh your ‘right’.

how can merits be gained…
1. sutra being words of the buddha and by reciting the sutra we are reminding ourselves as well as the sentient beings around us of the teachings of fo pu sa

2. As we recite the sutra, we concentrate and are focus on the recitation… thus will have lesser wondering thoughts. that’s cultivating ding4. With ding4定, wisdom will reveal…. and our cultivation will improve. Consequently our thoughts, speech and actions will benefit others.

3. When we recite the sutra, sentient beings will benefit from it by listening… by us reciting the sutra esp DZJ, the sentient beings will benefit… cos they prefer DZJ and probably more receptive of the teachings of DZJ thus being able to confess and repent and relieve a little of the suffering that they are
going through

4. By us reciting the sutra and sincerely wanting to benefit the sentient beings, they could receive the merits cos of our sincerity. When we are really sincere, we will be very focus and the power of the sutra will be even greater…. i.e. just like the findings of Dr Masaru Emoto on water crystals…. if we really want sentient beings to benefit, they will….

5. As for how one gains the merit… bcos we are so focus, we cultivate 定 and consequently have wisdom.

Pure Land, a paradise that there will be no pain or evil stuff there. According to MCK there’s so many real life examples that cancer patients use Amituofo to ease the pain that they are suffering from. reciting amituofo is not about dying.

communicate with the cancer cells. Apologize to them and do not hate them. Cos the cells are suffering as well when your father suffers. Apologize for any past wrong doings and ask them to recite Amituofo together.

Pureland is not a place for the dead to go. but it’s for us to migrate there to have a better future. Tell your father to vow to go to Pure Land cos only by going to Pure Land will the whole family be reunited there. If not, all of us will be in the cycle of rebirth and family members will not meet again or only after a long long time. Another thing that you may want to do is to do animal liberation for your father. If possible ask for some $ to do it. According to DZJ, you may want to get some of his money to print DZJ.

So many things on hand to work on, both personal and work. Or maybe i’m just a little dis-orientated and thus felt so. Trying to find my pivot point so that i can regain my balance asap… it makes me feel lethargic and aimless.

I do not want to be pushed along by the days, weeks & month… only to one day realise that so much time has passed and yet i’m still the same old me. No progress in areas i desire but just aged more. That’s sad, isn’t it?
